Rosalie is an Adelaide-trained, PhD-qualified Dietitian. She has spent over 25 years specialising in clinical nutrition and dietetics with extensive experience in peri-operative nutritional support from her work at Westmead Hospital and the Royal Adelaide Hospital, and her research on nutritional physiology. She has published many related research articles and is passionate about using (and creating) the evidence-base to inform our practice.
She holds academic titles at The University of Adelaide and Flinders University and has teaching experience and interests both for undergraduate and research students. She also leads allied health projects and advocates an interdisciplinary approach to improving health. The evidence shows that when patients are at the centre of a holistic approach to manage their wellbeing, remarkable improvements are possible.
Rosalie comes from a lineage of fantastic Italian home cooks and believes that food is to be celebrated. Food is central to our being as humans, it sustains us physically, psychologically, and spiritually; it is easily modified to improve our health and wellbeing. Rosalie is delighted to join The International Spine Centre® team and looks forward to working with her patients.
